Who we are

The Australian Fashion Council is the peak body for the Australian fashion and textile industry.

AFC members are Australian founded or majority owned businesses involved in producing fabric, clothing, footwear or accessories. Our members are also the individuals that contribute creatively and economically to the Australian fashion and textile industry.

Our mission

On behalf of our members, we champion and advocate for a prosperous and creative Australian fashion and textiles industry. Our purpose is to build a vibrant and inclusive ecosystem for our member community through education, collaboration and innovation.

To deliver on this mission, the AFC will pursue these strategic priorities:

Build a dynamic, engaged and diverse AFC member community that represents the full breadth of the Australian fashion and textile industry.

Create value for our members by fostering community and collaboration and advocating for their interests with all stakeholders.
